We work for promoting inclusive growth of Urban, Rural and Tribal low income underserved communities and contributing towards their economic and social wellbeing. Our programs are focused on Financial Education, social security benefits, livelihoods and health. We are in the process on redesigning and developing high impact scalable programs in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha
The focus of activities in Tamil Nadu currently will be Financial Education of women and young children and Livelihoods. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven Area Manager for Tamil Nadu who will manage the operations in the state.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Base Location: Puducherry or Cuddalore
Locations to be handled: Puducherry and Cuddalore District
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with Programs Head for planning and operations of program in Tamil Nadu
- Preparing the operations plan for the programs and monitoring the roll out
- Identifying different government programs suitable for the communities
- Initiating partnerships with schools, government and NGO partnerships
- Being totally budget oriented and managing operations within the budget
- Motivate and manage the team to meet the targets of the foundation and also create an impact with programs.
- Timely Compilation and submission of reports, data/MIS for internal and external stake holders.
- Improving the team efficiency by capacity building, regular training and productivity optimization
SKILLS
- Ability to plan and manage the programmes.
- Strong management and presentation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written skills in Tamil and English necessary.
- Empathy and a positive attitude to work with the community
- Good Computer skills (word, excel and power point)
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to build, supervise and manage a team
- Openness to travel in area of operations
Note: This role requires significant work on the ground and in the villages.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: Graduate/Post graduates
- Essential: Min 5 years of experience in Social Sector/Social Enterprise
- Willingness to travel to villages and work in the community
- Should have a social enterprise approach
